about the session

Sometimes, love finds you in the most unexpected places. For Sarah and Kolby, that place was a dating app called Mutual. Living in different Utah cities (Sarah in Logan, Kolby in Provo), fate intervened when Sarah visited friends and family. A serendipitous swipe right on Mutual connected them, and their story began.

Despite the distance, Sarah and Kolby discovered a remarkable friendship. Their shared Georgia roots, the fact that they share a birthday, and a seemingly endless list of things in common fostered a connection that blossomed quickly. Their first date, a fun-filled dinner halfway between their towns, made things official. Thanks to Sarah's plan to be "closer to family" during a summer move to Provo, their friendship blossomed into a full-fledged romance in May.

The summer's end brought the inevitable return to Logan for Sarah's studies. However, their love story wasn't fazed. They navigated the challenges of long distance for two semesters, their unwavering support  keeping them going. Finally, Sarah's permanent move back to Provo meant they could be together full-time.

Sarah never imagined finding love on a dating app, but their story is a testament to its power. They are both so grateful for the way they found each other, in the ease of their connection, the comfort they found together, and the way they perfectly balanced each other. Kolby, with his infectious optimism and unwavering support, stole Sarah's heart.

A romantic picnic on a mountaintop overlooking the valley marked the beginning of their forever. Kolby planned a picture-perfect proposal, complete with a homemade meal and a breathtaking fireworks display. It was a moment as unique and beautiful as their love story.

Their wedding day was a joyous celebration of their connection. Every detail, from the vows that spoke of their unwavering love to the laughter that filled the air, reflected the deep bond they share. Working with Sarah and Kolby was so much fun. Their love story started with a chance encounter and blossomed into a gorgeous Georgian wedding day. Sarah and Kolby, thank you for letting us capture the magic of your special day!
