Spending time with the Klein family was an absolute blast. Kara and Dan are the ultimate fun parents. They love to be outside, whether that’s at a park, on a walk, in the water, or on a patio with friends. They love to be silly together, explore new places, enjoy music, and play with their crazy rescue pup, Oshie!
The Kleins live their lives joyfully and are teaching their children to do the same.
Kara and Dan met on a dating app in 2015. A huge rainstorm hit in the middle of their first date in a dive bar in Washington, DC. It was a good thing they hit it off because they were stuck waiting out the storm for hours. They enjoyed each other’s company and the greasy pub fare, and the rest is history.
Little Teddy and baby Judy were so fun to document. We spent the session playing games and capturing family snuggles. I love the way the trees and the grass pop in these photos. I think these portraits would be perfect for a gallery wall of family photos. The sibling portraits alone would make for some great wall art.
